Pp. xxxii, 892, 31 plates (13 in color), 106 text-figures. Original pale green printed wrappers, sm folio (13 1/4 x 10 1/4 inches). This Princeton University Press edition was published simultaneously in Stuttgart by Schweizerbart'sche Verlaghandlung. Part 1 was issued loose in portfolio wrappers; all other parts are bound in original wrappers as issued by the publisher. This set includes nine parts, each titled individually. Part I: The Vegetation of Western Patagonia by Per Dusen; Part II: Hepaticae by Arthur Evans; Part III: Bryophyta by Per Dusen; Part IV: Pteridophyta by George MacLoskie; Part V: Flora Patagonia, Sections 1-4 by George MacLoskie; Part VI: Analysis of Orders and Families by George MacLoskie; Part VII: Collectors and Bibliography by George MacLoskie; Part VIII: Topography by George MacLoskie; and Part IX: Character and Origin of the Patagonian Flora by George MacLoskie. The complete set of this important early flora of the southern portion of South America. A supplement to the Flora, not offered here, was published a decade later in 1914. From the library of botanist William J. Hoe of the Bryophyte Herbarium in Honolulu, Hawaii with his circular name stamp on the front wrapper of most parts. Wrappers to part I is worn on the spine with a few repairs to the internal side of the wrapper, a closed tear to the top margin of the front wrapper has also been repaired, there is a bump to the front bottom outer corner of Part V; a tight, bright and clean set in very good condition.
