Original green cloth with impressed and gilt designs on front cover. Gilt lettering on spine. 6 X 9 1/4 inches. 153 pages plus 26 pages of contents. The contents of this copy are, Officers for 1893-4, Constitution, by-Laws, Corresponding Secretary's notice, local committee's notice, First day-Morning events, Afternoon events, Banquet, Obituaries, The Commencement of our Society, Meetings of the Society, Troops serving in the Army of the Tennessee, In Memoriam, members by Third Amendment, Honorary Members, Life Members, names and addresses of members, invitation from Chattanooga. A previous owner wrote in pencil the following, "General Thomas Warren Bennett of Richmond, Indiana (311 N. 9th St) was a member of the Society of the Army of The Tennessee. See pg. 142 herein. He died 2 Feb. 1893. before the meeting herein took place." Also a previous owner put 2 stickers on the inside front cover which reads, "Mary Williams Ogborn, 258 North 22nd Street, Richmond, Indiana 47374" and "Argus E. Ogborn Colonel S.V.R. (Ret), 259 North 22 Street Richmond Indiana, 47374, Library No. H-444." Also the numbers "Circa O1893" on the inside front cover. A few pages have small spots, however overall pages are clean and complete. Binding is tight. Bookseller Inventory # 018178
