The three porfolios of Maps and Profiles, accompanying the reports of the three corps, contain a total of about 215 separate folded items each. These cover the distance of the surveys and are very detailed. The maps (topographic) and profiles are large; for instance, Corps No. 1, Map No. 1, is 48" x 30." They are in excellent condition. Cloth, ex lib, library labels on covers and call nos. on spines, library stamps on the back sides of a few maps; one volume is torn at the head of the pine; inner folders of slipcases are brittle; interiors are excellent, on high quality paper.
