About the Author:

Jonathan Lane (b. 1931) was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. He graduated from the University of Oregon where he majored in radio and television. After he graduated he spent two years in the Signal corps at Ft. Huachuca, Arizona where he was a Sergeant in the Public Information Office. He produced and hosted a weekly radio show on three Arizona radio stations. After he was discharged he became a partner in three floorcovering stores in the Portland, area. The author has a wife of 56 years, Naomi, a son Daniel, and a daughter Deborah. He has been retired for Ten years. Seven years ago he decided to write a book. The book is the hardest thing he's ever done.
