Synopsis: Current culture has traveled far from the world of knights and castles and embraced the propaganda that lasting love between two people is not only impossible, it's not worth fighting for. However, the age of chivalry provides timeless stability for every generation. In Return to Chivalry the images of armed warriors and stunning damsels, daunting towers and fire-breathing dragons are used to illustrate the abstract concepts of modern relationships. Return to Chivalry offers a clear definition of 21st century relationships by demonstrating our compelling desire to find deep, uncompromising love. By traveling to another place and time it reintroduces values and behaviors that worked then and will work now. Powerful character qualities are vividly illustrated with stories of real people, who successfully navigate the challenges of relationship, maturity and personal growth. Through Return to Chivalry 21st century men learn to be warriors and modern women learn to be worthy and honorable damsels - not in distress. Return to Chivalry places in the heart of each reader a hope for lasting relationship that will satisfy them fully. At a time when finding healthy, romantic relationship has never been more difficult, young adults are begging for answers and Return to Chivalry offers them.

About the Author: A woman first. Lisa observes the women of her culture and is often disappointed by what she sees. “We have been weakened by lack of honor and worth. We have allowed ourselves to become average, common, ordinary at best. This is not as it should be. My voice, my expressions, my posture, my writing all speak the same message to the women of my day. You are beautiful. You are valuable. You are extraordinary. Believe it. Act upon it.” Freedom to be a woman means freedom to be honored, to be worthy, to be confident, to be pursued. Lisa’s goal is to set a new and higher standard for women of the 21st century – that they would become damsels. A damsel. Married to a man who has taught her about men, warriors and healthy relationships, Lisa has discovered that she and her husband are more powerful together than either of them would be independently. “From him I have learned to be a damsel. I have been pursued without losing my identity. I have learned to bring my own resources into a relationship rich with his provision. I have allowed him to protect me – often from myself.” Steve Skabrat is a delightful example of a warrior – humble, truly generous and full of integrity. He is Lisa’s model for the men, who through her writing, would become warriors. A mother. Parenting has caused Lisa to ask how warriors and damsels are made. “My son, daughter and daughter-in-law are well on their way to becoming a warrior and damsels. By committing to both military and volunteer organizations, these young adults have sacrificed for others by serving on foreign soil. Their experiences have strengthened their character and propelled them toward maturity.” Lisa has the heart of a mother for all young adults, hoping that each person she touches will seek the qualities of warriors and damsels as they journey through adulthood. A life coach. Lisa finds sincere pleasure in walking beside young adults, who desire to be the best they can be by seeking their authenticity. “It is through finding themselves that they will discover lasting relationships. It is my passion to help them identify what will satisfy them fully.”
