Andrew's stance on the prohibition of alcohol, seeking to refute his claims of alcohol as a food, and citing moral perils of drink. John A. Andrew was the governor of Massachusetts from 1861 to 1866, and argued against Massachusetts' prohibition of alcohol due to its legislation of morals and private acts of individuals. GOOD condition.
