Edited from the Original Manuscript with Notes by His Grandson, Isaac J. Greenwood. 6 plates. xxii, 8vo, blue cloth, pages margins uncut, corners lightly bumped, residue from tape on two blank preliminary pages, otherwise very good. New York: Privately Printed by the De Vinne Press, 1922. Limited First Edition Number one of an edition of 100 copies. John Greenwood joined the Continental army in Massachusetts as a fifer. He later served as a scout in Benedict Arnold's expedition against Canada and as a soldier in the Battle of Trenton. Soon after that battle, his enlistment ended. For the remained of the war, Greenwood served as a privateersman. He served on ships that sailed mostly in the West Indies and was a prisoner-of-war four times. Bookseller Inventory # 252934
