After completing undergraduate work at Lehigh and The University of London, he attended The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, studying under Fred Chappell, Robert Watson, and Lee Zacharias, and was awarded with an MFA in Creative Writing in 1978. Revolver is his first volume of poetry. This volume of poetry was set entirely by hand and was printed on a hand-operated Kelsey Excelsior 9x13 press. Not Ex-Library.
