About this title

Masssive novel made world famous by television miniseries starring Nick Nolte, Susan Blakely, and Peter Strauss. Story telling in the old fashioned, almost Dickensonian sense. Story of the two brothers, spanning 20 years, 1945 - 1965. No modernism here. This is a First Edition, First Printing, stated, inscribed and signed by Irwin Shaw.

About the Author:

Irwin Shaw was born in New York in 1913 and began his literary career writing short stories, and plays for the stage and radio.
