In FAIR condition. Moderate soiling and scuffing, especially along the extremities. Semicircle dampstain present to the front cover where a glass was perhaps placed. Spine sunned. Overall general darkening to the boards. Top corners very worn and frayed. Less so to the bottom corners. Spine head and foot a bit frayed. The text is solid, with the pages browning a bit. Minor dampstain in the lower gutter of the title page. This does not affect the text. Previous owner's writing on inside front cover declaring, in bold pencil, "very scarce."
