Synopsis: This women's self-study Guidebook is developed as a 12-month inner journey into the cycles of nature and spirit as reflection for our true natures. It provides a template for women interested in cultivating mindfulness and embodied awareness while creating spiritual community grounded in a sacred feminine tradition. It is ideal for women of European descent who are motivated and inspired to deepen their spiritual practice and recognize that psycho-spiritual development is not only essential for personal development, but is a vital resource for our families and communities. This experience is unique in that it will not only enhance our relationship with our Divinely Feminine nature, but will provide an opportunity to deepen our connection with our soul in a universal sense.

About the Author: Cara Carlson, Ph.D., LICSW, is an integral, transpersonal therapist and healing practitioner of the old ways. She has implemented and managed several healing and health programs for women and families. Cara teaches Social Work and is on faculty at the Cultural Wellness Center where she has been initiated as a community wise woman specializing in Cultural Studies. A lover of ritual, ceremony, and creating sacred space, she has facilitated hundreds of rites of passage community ceremonies and festivals throughout Minnesota and has traveled through Europe where she has been trained in cultural and traditional arts. Kara Vangen, LSW, CHTP, is a Teacher in the Tradition of the Divine Feminine, a practitioner of Healing Arts with expertise in mindfulness, meditation, and recovering from traumatic wounding, and a Holistic social worker specializing in Mental Health at Touchstone Mental Health. Kara's work, while inspired by the tradition of the Divine Feminine, is deeply imbedded in Buddhist and Sufi teachings, most notably as a student in the Ridwan School or Diamond Approach method. Kara has extensive experience in the practice of self-reflection and inquiry, and has been a devoted practitioner of meditation for over 20 years.
