Black cloth with gilt titles to spine and front, in blue, yellow and white jacket with illustration of boxing c. 17th-century Dutch barefisting it. 28th edition of the classic work. Indexed by section. Records, history, records, laws, obits., etc. NF/VG- to VG. Book is very lightly shaken but holding fine, square and tight. Otherwise book is as new: bright, clean and sharp inside and out. Jacket is rubbed with areas of scuffing but no soil. 3/4" closed tear (internally tape-repaired) upper front edge not extending into titles or figures. Wear with 1" x 1/2" deep chip upp[er spine end; 1/4" tear with surface loss upper rear edge. Jacket may be uniformly mildly sunned to consistent blue-green and yellow across both panels and spine (no comparison available with original state), but still handsome and clear. In Brodart.
