About this title:

Synopsis: Josh Baker and Eddie Debord are two young boys who love nothing more than running the hills and riverbanks of their small hometown in West Virginia. Inside an old red milk can they discover by the river, they find a gift from a forgotten moment in time; a relic from the past. A document that will send them on an adventure of a lifetime! They will make new friends and new enemies and will find themselves drifting downriver, biking down old railroad beds, exploring hidden hollows and finding hidden secrets, all in search of a long lost jewel from the past; a pile of Confederate gold that went missing in 1903 after a train robbery, and could lay quite literally right in their back yard. They will cross paths with many curious characters who all want a piece of the action while trying to connect the dots to this age old mystery. Suspense, danger, and terror are around every turn and they must be careful! Because in the end, it could cost them much more than just a couple weeks of their summer vacation. Be careful wishing for big adventures....one may find you!

About the Author: Steve Kittner was born and raised in Elkview, West Virginia and spent his youth running up and down the muddy banks of the Elk River; fishing, hunting, hiking, biking and often being mischievous as boys along the river can be. Writing is something that he has liked doing most of his life, having written a few stories as a kid, one of which was displayed in the old Sunrise Museum in Charleston. His roots are deeply planted in West Virginia and his first novel came straight from the heart as well as from some of the experiences and adventures he had as a boy. Steve resides in Central Florida with his wife and children...and still enjoys a good adventure every now and then.
