Max Beerbohm contributed a chapter on fantasy in costume design; Abbey Theater director Lennox Robinson and others weighed in on Irish dramatic costume, while Beaumont Press founder Cyril W. Beaumont wrote about costumes for ballet. These chapters are accompanied by costume designs from such noted designers and artists as Edward Gordon Craig, Edmund Dulac, Charles Ricketts, Claud Lovat Fraser, William Nicholson, and Paul Nash.
