Bluish cloth with a gilt illustration on the front cover, as well as gilt titling and illustrations on the spine. 179 pages. With several illustrations, although MISSING two plates called for. A work chronicling the boyhood, early days and exploits of the legendary Robin Hood, including his death by arrow. With a lengthy poem in the rear, by Martin Parker, titled, "The True Tale of Robin Hood," and supposedly drawn from various early English sources. In GOOD condition, lacking the aforementioned two plate. Heavy scuffing and fading to the cloth, especially along the extremities. Minor soiling and a few faint stains to the covers. Extremities bumped and scuffed with some fraying to the cloth at the corners and head and foot of the spine. Spine very faded. Slight lean to the binding. Interior solid with minor scattered soiling, general minor toning to the paper and moderate scattered foxing throughout. Bookseller Inventory # 004271
