Paper covers, illustrated to front, rubbed to edges and corners, two closed tears, some marks (but no spencers) to reverse. Stitched binding mostly intact. 16pp of text and illustrations in blue. Pages are frayed, especially to the front edge, with some small tears. Hard to find in any condition. One of Marks and Spencer's early brand names,- 'Marspen' was used on children's books, stationery and haberdashery in the 1920s and 1930s.
