Add to basketROCKWELL KENT N BY E 1933 REPRINT EDITION VERY CLEAN AND BRIGHT. Years ago I was tempted to add Rockwell Kent books to my collection as a focal area; I liked his art and liked his adventures, particularly those of the latter which ventured into northern latitudes. But somewhere along the line, I realized that I was not alone and that many people collect his works. Hopefully, they are still doing so; please find N by E by Rockwell Kent. This small hard cover book (5 ¾ x 8 ½ inches, 281 pages) was published by Blue Ribbon Books of New York, dated 1933 and the Fifth Printing. It is bound in light blue cloth with dark blue titles on the spine. This book is lavishly illustrated with the works of Rockwell Kent, many embedded in the text and another 8 full-page woodcuts that according to Kent, are less illustrative of the text that supplementary to it. Laid-in is a newspaper clipping from the Watertown Daily Times dated November 19, 2008 about an exhibition at the New York State Museum in Albany of the work of Rockwell Kent. Condition: This book is in very good condition. The hard covers are clean and bright with just some faint bumping to the corners and spine tips. Inside, there is a gift inscription on the front endpaper but that is the only mark I found in the book. The interior pages and many woodcuts, both in text and full-page, are clean and bright without toning or foxing. Both hinges are intact and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder. Language: ENG.
