About this title

Rocky Point, the northern gateway to the treacherous coast of central California, is the focus of a new illustrated anthology of short stories published by Noir Press. Senior editor Randall Albers described the site as "one that combines breathtaking beauty with a history of violence and murder."

The small volume of short stories entitled Rocky Point Murders contains chilling tales of lethal greed, psychotic love and bizarre murders.

Randall Albers said the work is the product of a collaboration of the Rocky Point Historical Society and the Carmel Writers' Workshop. The Society was founded to carry on the work of Professor Orsotti, a reclusive historian who lived in a cabin near Rocky Point in the early twentieth century. In 1936 Professor Orsotti's body was found several yards away from his head, silencing his journaling the dark happenings at the Point.
