Shelf and handling wear to cover and binding, with general signs of previous use. The "Royal Edition", limited to 450 copies, of which this is part of set number twenty-one. Bound in burgundy leather with ornate gilt decorations/lettering to front board and spine. Rear board is blind stamped with a fleur-de-lis motif. Decorated endpapers. TEG. Deckle edge. Top 3.5" of spine was partially separated, but has been repaired. PO bookplate to pastedown. A few pages have small tears to the fore edge, due to careless separation of uncut pages.
