Rose et Noir shows the terrifying effects of American cocktails on a newly married couple and contains nine fascinating full-page photographic images printed in pink, black, and white. Laid in is a booklet by René Benjamin entitled, "Dialogue Moderne en Trois Temps et Trois Cocktails," as issued. Bleu Blanc Rouge offers a rather amusing argument against foreign alcohols, taking on Russian vodka, German beer, British whiskey, and American Blue Rock mineral water each in beautiful folding pochoir illustrations, before presenting French wine in a mounted color plate. With Nicolas wine listing laid into Rose et Noir. Text in French. Occasional faint foxing to text, only very light rubbing to extremities of oversized wrappers. A near-fine pair.
