Two over-sized (quarto) volumes complete. Bound in half red leather with red cloth boards. The red leather spines are embellished with elaborate decorative gold-stampings and are in fine condition. We have re-dyed any small scuffs and have treated the leather with The Library of Congress formula for leather preservation--all to good effect. The set presents handsomely on the shelf. The red cloth boards show some wear to the extremities and some surface mottling (perhaps from damp staining). The text/illus pages are tight and clean with no marks (profusely illustrated with Rowlandson's black and white caricatures--no color). Some light foxing to the front and rear blank end sheets of both volumes. This set is a bit heavy, but is postpaid in the United States. In other words, no additional postage will be assessed provided the address is in the USA. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Bookseller Inventory #
