269 p. 24 cm. Frontis. Illustrations. Manuel Roxas was a President of the Philippines. The author was trained at Harvard, was a lawyer, and occupied a number of positions in the Government of the Philippines. He was well acquainted with his subject. The Foreword was written by Ricardo Paras, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Philippines, and a classmate of President Roxas in the College of Law of the University of the Philippines. This book was printed by Kiko Printing Press. President Roxas died shortly after the Philippines was gaining it's independence after the defeat of the Japanese invaders and the end of the Second World War.
