About this Item
This G+ quality book was published in 1922 by Grosset & Dunlap. It is 7-5/8" tall and has 207 numbered pages of text followed by 6 unnumbered pages of ads followed by 6 blank pages. This book has a slight lean, is reasonably clean, free of edge dings with the top front corner lightly bumped; head and heel of the spine are lightly bumped with slight fabric damage. The serious external issue is water damage to the lower front corner of each board (see photo)--the damage extends only to the end pages because the text pages are not affected. Except for an inked 1926 inscription on the FFEP, the interior is completely free of writing and stray marks; pages 63/64 have a tiny (1/4" x 1/2") piece missing from the bottom edge; there are small non-intrusive stains on perhaps 10 pages that do not hinder the reading of the text. The hinges are strong and not damaged in any way. The frontis + 3 are present and not damaged. The paper is moderately toned but is still quite flexible. The list in the back of the book lists only the first 12 Blakeley titles. The G quality jacket is in two pieces, with the front flap and front panel being one piece and the spine, rear panel and rear flap being the other piece; it has fairly small chips at both front corners and at the heel of the spine, with a larger chip with tears at the head of the spine. There is wear along the front fold, scratches/scrapes on the front panel and spine, and discoloration from water on the front panel (see photos). The list of series books on the rear panel of the jacket lists to 11 Roy Blakeley titles. Seller Inventory # BMR-2020-6-25-2
