About this Item

This two volume set has green hued paper covered boards over green leather spine and corners. Top edges gilt. Spines contain five raised bands and leather labels featuring gilt lettering and decorations. Label of volume one is chipped. Covers and extremities of both volumes are slightly rubbed, lower corners of volume one are moderately worn. Spines have been sunned and appear as an attractive brown hue. Heads and feet of spines are a trifle rubbed. Beautiful marbled endpp., former owner's attractive bookplate appears on the ffep. of each volume. Prelims area little foxed, otherwise, texts are very clean, bindings are sound and tight. Nice set, digital image available. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall. Bookseller Inventory # 003998
