About this Item
Taken just two months before armistice was signed on Nov. 11th, 1918, this group of S.A.T.C. recruits appeared mustered up in their civilian clothes - right out of their classes and ready to "do their bit" by resuming military training. A sepia toned, gelatin silver photograph, measuring 6.5 x 9.5 inches wide, having some creases, the upper and lower edges trimmed from a previous mounting and a few spots of paper residue on the verso. Captions on the verso speak to the senders' health and is signed "Mal" It is interesting to note the Jesuit Priest in the front row - possibly James Brogan who was President of Gonzaga University 1913-1920, may be identifiable through Gonzaga's personal records.
