" This three-volume work contains discourses and lectures on the Hebrew bible. Rabbi Judah Leib Lazarov (1875-1939) was born in Kovno Province, Russia and studied in Jewish centers such as Telz, Mir, Volozhin and Radun. Prior to moving to the United States in 1898 where his career as a teacher flourished, he worked as a preacher in Lithuania.
