" This edition makes reference to Yofi Mikhlal’s explanations and study guides for grammar and vowelization. Sefer Yafeh Mareh was first published in Constantinople, 1587 and Venice 1590. It contains expositions of the aggadot of the Jerusalem Talmud. In the preface Jaffe explains that it was his aim to interpret the aggadot of the Jerusalem Talmud "because they are very similar to the aggadot of the Midrash Rabbah in style and in language" (EJ, 2007) .
