White dust jacket rubbed, light soiling to white front panel, slight nicking at edges, small chip at rear panel's top left corner, faint moisture staining at spine heel and along bottom edges of both panels; dj now presented in a mylar Brodart protector. Yellow cloth spine, black cloth boards. Author's boldly penned black felt-tip ink inscription on front free endpaper contributes some associated ink impressions and smudging upon opposing front pastedown and dj's front flap. Interior pages are clean. Binding remains fairly crisp. A very good+ copy in a very good- dust jacket with Moore's warm seven-line inscription on the ffep: "For | Juliet & Howard | with | Happy Memories of | Columbus | Affectionately | Colleen Moore." {Shelf #2}.
