FIRST EDITION. 8vo. [7]2-30[2]p. Frontispiece b/w portrait of Colonel Vinson. Grey cloth over black cloth with gilt letters on the front cover. Colonel Zachary Taylor Vinson was born in 1857 in Wayne County, West Virginia, and was educated at the Law School of the University of Virginian and Boston Univeristy Law School. He practiced law in Ceredo, Wayne County, and then moved to Huntington, where he was very successful. He was a Director and General Counsel for the United States Coal and Oil Company and an attorney for Ohio Valley Electric Railway Company. He married Mary Chaffin in 1901, with whom he had two children. Very minor wear to extremities, gilt bright, front free endpaper missing, previous owner's name blacked out on front pastedown, else Vg+/ No jacket. Bookseller Inventory # 03988
