300 pp; account of the Napoleonic Wars from French perspective; the four fold-out battle plans are in VG+ condition withonly slight browning; contrary to binder's instructions, the 4th fold-out appears facing page 260 not page 216 as called for; gilt stamping on spine very faint; has bookplate of former owner on front paste-down and same name written on ffep; both board detached from binding but still attached to backstrip; some minor browning throughout; in black decorative boards that are noticeably rubbed.
