Blue hardcover cloth binding square and tight. Watermark around edges of binding - does not seem to affect interior at all. Interior pages foxing and a couple of dog-earred pages, but no writing tears or marks. DJ rubbed along edges, small chips and wrinkles. Lightly soiled. Protected from further damage by clean mylar jacket. Cover illus is of various soldiers and sailors and two dogs - one looks like an English Setter, another an airedale. 274 pages + ads. Back flap advertises Kyne's book - Cappy Ricks Special. Other Kyne titles listed on back of dj. Author writes about men for men.
