About this Item

Second edition of this work rebound in muted gray cloth and marbled paper over boards; paper label on spine. All edges remain gilt because no trimming was done during the rebinding process. Very nice looking on the shelf. The plates, all intact, only slightly foxed, are charming illustrations of hawking, hunting, "goff", and so forth. Bookseller Inventory # 1280
