About this title

Waleed Simba was an excellent police officer. While he was dynamic, resourceful, and instinctive, he was often kind, sympathetic, empathetic, and accommodating. Many books have been written about super-stud, karate-kicking, rule breaking cops. This book is written about me by me. A real policeman who did it right and with pride and honor. This book also deals with some sensitive issues such as some of the challenges faced by African-Americans working in a system that is not necessarily African-American friendly. This book also deals with martial arts in police work both physically and mentally. Waleed Simba is a true believer that martial arts enhances all aspects of one's life. Waleed is currently working on a new project. See my website:

About the Author:

Waleed SimBa was born with a very strong spirit. He believes the combination of Native American and African American heritage is instrumental in his life long pursuit of self-awareness. As a teen he began his martial arts journey and hasn't looked back. He knew there was something to the in the spiritual suggestions that came early in training. He continues to train with masters in Korea, Singapore and the United States is always ready to learn more about himself. Mr. SimBa feels that martial arts and the United States Marine Corps provided the foundation that was necessary for the discipline and execution for his duties as an undercover police officer/detective. That same combination has provided the character and honor necessary to overcome the challenges of today.
