Story re-told after the Old Italian Version and done into pictures by Mary Stuart Wortley, Countess of Lovelace. Book is in VERY GOOD- condition with cover having light green cloth binding with grey, red and green orange tree with still bright gilt crown in the middle of the illustration, black lettering on cover and spine. Book's spine tips and corners are bumped and gently worn with one 1/2" tear at top spine tip. Covers have some staining and spots and are sunned. Book's insides are tight, unmarked and bright with 10 illustrated plates still under original tissue guard! Book is in exceptional condition especially for 120 years old!!. Bookseller Inventory #
