First Edition. Pages are clean and bright with occasional soiling. Blue cloth covers are rubbed, scuffed and soiled. Sections of the spine and corners are worn through to the underlying board. Inside hinge shows webbing, but binding remains sound and square. End pages are soiled. Front endpage has a pastedown stating "Library of the Southern Bell Telephone and Telegraph Company and the Cumberland Telephone and Telegraph Company Incorporated. Chief Engineer's Office, Atlanta, GA." All 32 plates, pullout diagrams and 82 illustrations are clear and present. Two of the pull-out diagrams have tears; all others are cleanly and neatly folded.
