Previous owner's inscription on front free endpaper, and book plate on front paste down. Free endpapers, title pages, pastedowns and many pages are moderately foxed. Edges are discoloured and have the odd scuff mark. Head and tail of spine bumped. Binding loosening, split at the title page. Pages well thumbed. Else this book is in good condition. Dust wrapper is showing heavy wear and tear. Large rip across front cover and several smaller tears along edges and spine. Small piece of front fold-back missing. Largely discoloured and slightly faded. Some rubbing and light scuff marks also present, front and back. Else in fair condition. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously but they usually present better than they sound.
