6" x 9", 58 pp., 2 fold-out maps tipped in [larger 1941 map of Boston Harbor and Massachusetts Bay inside front cover, smaller 1935 map of the islands of Boston Harbor at pg. 46]. A Very Good copy of this somewhat scarce guide to Massachusetts Bay, full of the lore that only E. Rowe Snow could tell so well. Wonderfully illustrated throughout with b/w plates and in-text photos. Internally very good with only a tiny bit of foxing, some light soiling to a few pages, and a small 1" tear on the smaller map's edge; otherwise fine. The card covers have some tanning/age-toning, some minor rubbing wear at some edges, a few small spots of discoloration, and, on the rear cover, a corner crease and a few small pen scribbles near the bottom; otherwise good.
