About this Item

Very good to fine copy in a slightly soiled and chipped dust jacket. Spine of jacket is sun faded. The top of the cover is stained, probably by water. The author shows how Joan actually lived in the violent early days of the 15th century. An indomnitable girl of the people, led by the inspired voices of her saints, Margaret and Catherine, not beautiful but strong, so given to man's clothing that she would not put it by even in prison.
