Light yellowish paper-covered boards over black cloth spine has gilt lettering on the spine. Covers are clean. Top extremities are a trifle sunned, others very slightly rubbed. Head and foot of spine are a little bumped and rubbed, spine is slightly cocked. Illustrated endpp. showing portraits of founding fathers are clean. Inscribed on the half title p. Inscription as follows, "Feb-1976/ To Laura,/ with much love from/ Cass/ (Pub. date- 3/17/'76." Text is clean, embellished with numerous b/w illustrations in text. D.j. is complete and intact. Extremities are slightly rubbed and creased.Three inch closed tear from top extremity of front panel has been mended with tape from behind, no loss. Nice copy, digital image available.
