Margaret began her interest in art as a young girl. She is a self-taught artist, dabbling in pastels, charcoal, oil, acrylics, quilting, basketry, pottery and murals. She began the study of watercolors in 2002 and launched her journey of experiments, disasters and successes. Margaret is a freelance artist and enjoys producing watercolors for fun, commission and sale. Santas 911 Meeting is her first childrens book illustration. She received her Bachelor of Arts in English from The University of North Carolina-Charlotte and her Master of Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University.
