Title: Sarah Lucas Perceval Momart Christmas Gift /...

Publisher: Momart, New York

Publication Date: 2007

Book Condition: Near Fine

Lidded white box (oblong, 12.5 by 9 inches), "Sarah Lucas Perceval Momart Christmas Gift 2007" faintly lettered on lid. Contains one glossy heavy cardstock leaf, with full-color photographic reproductions of Perceval, shown from 4 angles, with tiny circles indicating where the images should be pierced for hanging; with a needle for piercing; and silver wire. Also includes two brown paper leaves: One, printed in red and black, and folded once into a pamphlet, tells the story of Perceval (Parsifal). The other, a 4-panel accordion fold, with illustration of twisting wire printed in black on first 3 panels, and handwritten text on the final panel (in pencil), "Here supplied is a plan for the mobile. The aim is to get the horses reasonably balanced and not bumping into each other. With these considerations in mind, thread and wire lengths can vary. Also, one long wire can suffice. Or, whatever you fancy." Perceval is the artist's first work of public art, displayed in New York at 60th Street and Fifth Avenue, Central Park, 11 November 2007 to 1 May 2008. Box a little scuffed, contents are fine. Uncommon. Bookseller Inventory # D6180
