This work contains 4 papers documented the 4 excursions taken on this International Geological Congress. The papers are in Russian but each has an extensive English summary. The Russian authors of these papers are respectively: K. V. Babkov; A. S. Korobova; Ivan B. Borozdenko and Nina N. Borozdenko; and F. I. Sedyakin. Bookplate and signature of paleontologist Arthur K.
