Rear inner hinge is cracked but holding. Textblock is cracked in a few places, but holding. Frontispiece shows b/w photograph of Edward A Wilson, with tissue paper protection intact. Mild foxing to textblock, especially to the early/late pages. 534 pp. Contains 7 coloured plates from water colour drawings by Dr Edward A Wilson, 1 coloured plate from an autochrome photograph by Herbert G Ponting.
