About the Author:

Stephen Marder has had a lifelong love for the landscape and history of northeastern Pennsylvania, upstate New York and New England. The histories of art, architecture, photography and technology have been continuing intellectual pursuits.

Mr. Marder earned degrees in Art History and Mechanical Engineering from Reed College and The University of Pennsylvania, respectively. In 1998, he formed his own business, New Visions Digital Publishing. Contact:
