Book Description 1980. Soft cover. Book Condition: Very Good. BODY HEAT. ORIGINAL FILM SCRIPT / SCREENPLAY by LAWRENCE KASDAN, who both wrote and directed the film. The screenplay is dated February 19, 1980. HAND SIGNED by LAWRENCE KASDAN directly on the Cover Page / Title Page. Also SIGNED by WILLIAM HURT on a 2.5x4.5 inch card that is attached to the top of the title page with a paper clip. William Hurt starred in the film along with Kathleen Turner. There is also a 2x3.5 inch BONHAMS (the auction gallery) card attached to the title page with a paper clip. The card indicates an estimated value of $300-500. (From what I could find the Bonham's auction took place back in 2012.) I have taken pictures of the front page with and without the clipped on Hurt Signature Card and Bonhams Auction Card. The script pages are photocopied on plain white paper (copy machine copies were, and still are, common among production and working scripts; drafts could be quickly made and sent to a film's writers, producers, directors, etc.), 8.5x11 inches, 118 pages plus a title page, pages printed on one side only, 3 hole punched and bound with 2 brass brads. VERY GOOD condition, the pages are lightly age toned, there are a few scratch lines to the cover page, otherwise bright, clean and unmarked.
