29 pp. + 158 b&w photogravure plates, introduction by Norman L. Rice, biography of the artist by Harry H. Hilberry, Architectural Projects and Other Work in Series, bibliography, list of plates. Croatian-born American sculptor known for his boldly cut figurative monuments and reliefs. In 1905 he made his first exhibit with the Secession Group in Vienna, noticeably influenced with the Art Nouveau style, and is renowned as a sculptor of religious subject matter. A few three 1/4" chips to top end front paned dj with minor edgewear to same edge, and age-toned spine and foxing to panels of same. Lightly age-toned edges, else, no wear. Clean, tight and strong binding with no underlining, highlighting or marginalia. Redish-brown cloth. Size: Folio. Bookseller Inventory # 003428
