About the Author: Born in Quebec, Canada, in 1965, Michel began to draw when he was old enough to hold a pencil.
He studied animation at Sheridan College School of Visual Arts in Ontario, Canada. In 1985, he began a highly successful career in the motion picture industry. Michel has created character animation, conceptual designs and special effects for over 15 feature films including American Tail, The Land Before Time, Mortal Kombat, Demolition Man, The Iron Giant and many others. His film work has been recognized by two prestigious Annie Award Nominations (animation's Oscar). His Short film "Prelude To Eden" is revered by animation students and teachers throughout the world and has played in film festivals from Switzerland to Brazil.
In addition to his film work Michel paints, sculpts and creates illustrated books in an effort to constantly challenge his artistic skills.
He lives with his beloved wife in southern California.
