About this title

Synopsis:

Legends are born and secrets are revealed in the sprawling new fantasy novel The Season of the Owl: Book 1.

Written by Cristina Cox Spence and Gregory P. Cox, this epic tale introduces Chrissa Spencer, a guest for the evening at the imposing Treywood Castle. Forged in a forgotten time from a single piece of mountain stone, the castle is the legendary dwelling of the Treywood family—whose reputation for wealth, wine making, and power hides a dark secret that will ultimately decide not only the fate of the kingdom, but of the world.

Chrissa’s curiosity soon leads her into the inner sanctum of Treywood Castle...where she discovers a mysterious man named Jared lurking in the shadows.

With a cape pulled low, Chrissa cannot see Jared’s face—but she can sense his devastating pain. Having touched her heart in a way no other man has before, Chrissa is determined to learn the truth.

But that truth turns out to be bigger than she ever imagined as Chrissa is drawn into the saga of the Treywood family and its two thousand-year-old pact. As wars rage and darkness descends upon the kingdom, Chrissa learns that no one can escape the hand of fate.
