A facsimile reproduction of the second edition of William Chefin's 1818 work discussing Cranbourne - or Cranborne - Chase, a large area of countryside overlapping the boundaries of Wiltshire, Dorset, Hampshire and Somerset. Closed tear to paper to back strip centre. Joints starting, with front board slightly tender and rear board firmly held. Marks to front board, most concentrated to board perimeters. Small loss of paper to centre of front board and head of rear board. Chipping to head of paper label to front board. Bookplate to front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound.
