About this title

Synopsis:

The world blames Hitler and the Nazi's for the genocide, but there were others who had a hand in this tragedy, and who continue to cause death and destruction right up to today. Seeds of Destruction? is the analysis of the crimes that politicians commit when they lack courage, foresight of conscience. It is the analysis of one particular crime -- The Balfour Declaration -- and its devastating effects on the Jews and the inevitable genocide that took place in Europe about 20 years later.

The whole fabric of "Seeds of Destuction?" is clothed in the characters of those statesmen and politicians involved, their actions, their motives, and most importantly, their agendas. It explores the key players such as the United States, Great Britain, France, the Arab states and their part in a ruthless attempt to dispose of the Jews once and for all. It shows the arrogance and vulnerability of all involved. It asks questions: Does the world want to end ethnic leansing, or will it continue to be used for political expediency? Can we end it in time to prevent another Holocaust... or nuclear oblivion? The Balfour Declaration opened the Pandora's Box -- evil happenings, one upon the other. Can we clamp the box down, or is it too late?

About the Author:

Abbe Slavin has written three books, a screenplay entitled "Nancy Wake" about a French Resistance operative, a children's series, and has a novel awaiting publication. Her latest book, "Seeds of Destruction?" is the culmination of all she say as a 16 year old: political ambition, expediency, moral hypocracy combininb to sew the seeds of the Holocaust, and the current Arab-Israeli disputes.
